Ireland’s first paint reuse project, remixing paint since 2007.

Every year, tonnes of perfectly good paint are sent abroad to be incinerated. In 2024, the equivalent weight of 33 blue whales was sent off! We think that’s crazy, and we’re here to stop it! This is our scéal.

A social enterprise in the Rediscovery Centre, Rediscover Paint collects high-quality, water-based paint from recycling centres, and gives it a fresh start. All the income from our paint is used to support our work providing paint for reuse, and allows us to provide training opportunities to people distanced from the workplace at the Rediscovery Centre.

Our team is led by colour experts Eileen (who’s favourite colour is yellow) and Dave (who’s favourite colours are blue and purple).
